Our client, a long-time proprietor of many famous Boston-based eateries, wanted a house in which she could gather family and friends in luxurious comfort. This house exudes an entertaining vibe; it is primed to welcome groups small and large with multiple seating areas. The kitchen especially needed to meet this restauranteur’s high standards and includes many commercial-grade amenities. The ample indoor and outdoor living spaces allow for delectable spreads of food and drink. Copper accents shine in the spacious kitchen and carry into the bar, with an open floor plan that allows easy flow from inside to out. The interior is a symphony of neutrals, a calm backdrop where the food and the guests become the stars. Rich textures bring visual interest, while unexpected elements, such as a papier maché whale’s tale and ceremonial African Juju hat, bring a sense of whimsy.
